Ticks don’t live out in the sunny middle of the lawn. They wait in the shade where the lawn meets the woods, in leaf litter and in tall grass along fences. That edge is where most NW Raleigh yards back up to woods, and it’s where I focus.

On a program, every 3–4 weeks from March through October. Ticks are active any warm day here, so the schedule starts early in spring. I can also do a one-time treatment whenever you need it.
Once the treatment is dry, typically 1 to 2 hours. I let you know when I’m done.
The preventive protects the dog. The yard treatment cuts down how many fleas and ticks are out there to begin with, which also protects the people in the house. They work best together.
