Thriving Lawns is a lawn care business in Raleigh, NC, operated by Thriving Lawns LLC (formerly Mosquito Free Triangle LLC). This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.
When you request an estimate, send a lawn photo, or become a customer, we collect your name, email, phone number, property address, details about your lawn, and any photos you send us. When you pay online, your card or bank details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Only to run your service: to give you estimates, schedule and perform visits, send invoices and receipts, keep required pesticide application records, and answer your questions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
If you opt in, Thriving Lawns sends texts about your estimate and service: visit reminders, “service complete” notes, and invoices. Message frequency varies, usually 2–6 messages a month. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or consent with any third parties or affiliates.
We share your information only with the service providers we need to run the business: our payment processor (Stripe), website and data hosting, email and text-message delivery, address lookup, and an image-recognition service for the photo identification tool. They receive it electronically over encrypted connections and may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also share records when the law requires it, such as pesticide application records requested by the state. We never sell, rent, or share your information for anyone else’s marketing.
Our website and customer portal use encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Card and bank details are entered directly with Stripe, a certified payment processor; we never see or store full card or account numbers. Our records are kept with an encrypted hosting provider, access is limited to the business owner, and customer portal passwords are stored in encrypted form. We keep only what we need to serve you and to meet North Carolina record-keeping rules, and we will let you know promptly if a breach ever affects your information.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We count page visits without cookies. When you send a request, the form also notes which site you came from (for example Google or Facebook) and the first page you opened, so I know what's working. The customer portal uses one sign-in cookie to keep you logged in.
You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by emailing info@thriving-lawns.com. We keep pesticide application records as long as North Carolina law requires.
